How can we help?
Quick answers first. If you're still stuck, reach us below.
GETTING STARTED
- Pick a home course. It's asked when you first open the app, and you can change it in Me › Settings.
- Set up your bag. Typing your clubs and distances lets the caddy hint and aim oval fit your game. Skip it and the app uses standard distances.
- Start a round. Play › pick a course › choose tees, 18 holes or a nine › Start round. Or start on the watch.
APPLE WATCH
- Shots log themselves. Swing, then walk on. About 15 yards from where you swung, the watch saves the shot and asks which club. Practice swings in the same spot are ignored.
- Swing detection with your wrist down needs Health access for the golf workout. If shots aren't detected, turn it on in iPhone Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › Bit by Bit.
- Phone and watch disagree? Open the app on both. Whichever copy of the round was edited last wins on both.
COURSE MAPS
- "Unverified" courses were mapped automatically and haven't been checked on the course yet. They're playable; tell us if a hole looks off.
- Missing your course? Search for it under Play, then tap "Request it" and it comes straight to us.
- A yardage looks wrong? Report it from Me › Help › Report a bug with the hole number. Fixes ship in the next update.
HANDICAP
The index on Home is an estimate: the average of your best 8 differentials out of your last 20, the World Handicap System way. Courses without a published rating ask you to type it in from the scorecard. Your official index still comes from your golf association.
JOIN THE BETA
The TestFlight beta is open to friends and local golfers first. To join, send us:
- your name,
- the email address of your Apple ID (TestFlight invites go there),
- your home course, and whether you wear an Apple Watch.
Beta sign-ups open here shortly. If a friend sent you this page, ask them for an invite in the meantime.
